We recently had the pleasure of talking to one of our very creative co-op members, Rachelle Tolwin, about her business, Little Mountain Kids. Using natural dyes, Rachelle creates stylish, eco-friendly, toxin-free children's clothing. Recipes: Cari's Thin Mint

Cari Heberger, a HFFC vendor, keeps our baked goods department stocked with a divine selection of cookies and treats. Every so often (especially around the holidays,) Cari like to whip up a batch of these Vegan Thin Mints for us. Perhaps you've tasted them on a visit to the co-op. They're exceptionally good. Cari got the recipe from one of her favorite websites, and perfected it with a small tweak. She's happy to share her findings with you and yours this winter.

Jodi Fogel is the High Falls Food Co-op’s general manager. She’s been with the co-op since almost the beginning… 30+ years! Jodi is a kind and steady force who has seen this little store through many wonderful times. She’s a treasure trove of warm co-op memories and stories which she is always happy to share. Jodi is also an active cook and long time vegetarian! So for her Thanksgiving meal, she’s turned tofu into tradition. She’s tried a lot of tofu turkey recipes through the years, but she’s held onto this one since 1986, making it annually for her family feast.

This a special treat. Sybille Schubert, High Falls Food Co-op Kitchen Manager, feeds our community with delicious baked goods, breakfast options, sandwiches, prepared salads, and so much more on a daily basis.
